Deer Valley invites you to ski with one of seven Olympic snowsport athletes this winter. Our athletes are available to ski with individuals, families and groups for exclusive half- and full-day memorable adventures at the resort.
The Ski with a Champion experience includes access to the Ski School lane at all chairlifts. The experience is not a lesson. Participants must be at least 7 years of age; children 12 and under are required to be accompanied by an adult. A release form must be completed by each participant in advance or by the parent/legal guardian of those participants who are under 18 years of age. The maximum group size is six people. Lift tickets are not included. Some skiing experience is required.

Half-day: $1,470 regular season | $1,655 high season*
*High season dates: 12/20 - 1/4; 1/17 - 1/20; 2/7 - 2/22; 3/1 - 4/5

Meet The Champions
Kris "Fuzz" Feddersen
A legend in the sport of freestyle skiing, Fuzz is widely recognized as a pioneer in the sport. He competed in three Olympics (1988, 1992, and 1994) and numerous world championships. He also coached the 1998 U.S. Winter Olympic Aerial Ski Team to two gold medals. Fuzz tallied up over 30 visits to the podium throughout his successful career on the World Cup. He’s also been featured in many commercials and Warren Miller ski films. Fuzz was inducted into the US Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame in the spring of 2014. Fuzz welcomes skiers of all levels for a customizable full-mountain experience.
Shannon Bahrke
Shannon won a silver medal in mogul skiing here at Deer Valley Resort in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. She became the first U.S. freestyle skier to win multiple Olympic medals with her bronze medal win at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. She is a former a 12-year member of the US Ski Team, three-time Olympian, the 2003 Overall World Cup Champion had seven World Cup victories, 26 World Cup podiums, and a six-time U.S. National Champion. Shannon’s passion for people and empowering them to live their best, more extraordinary lives promises to make for a Deer Valley experience unlike any other.
Kaylin Richardson
Kaylin competed in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics and is a four-time National Alpine Champion. After retiring from the World Cup, Kaylin carved a niche for herself in the big-mountain ski scene. She won the Freeskiing World Tour’s North American Championship in 2012 and has appeared in many Warren Miller films. Kaylin’s passion is sharing her love of skiing by guiding skiers around Deer Valley and elevating their ability along the way. Seeing the spark of recognition and excitement in someone’s eyes, whether they're on the bunny slope or tackling a double black diamond, never fails to thrill her!
Jillian Vogtli
Jillian is a two-time Olympian, with 8 World Cup Podiums, two National titles and a former 13-year member of the US Ski Team. She is known for her success in mogul skiing as well as being the first woman to perform a cork 720 in the Olympic Games. Jillian brings a unique sense of joy and excitement to the mountains with her effervescent personality, positive nature and love for people. In addition to being an Olympian, Jillian is also a Holistic Wellness Coach. Regardless of your skiing ability, Jillian will introduce you to a memorable winter experience that you will be talking about for years to come.
Chris Waddell
Chris is the most successful male monoskier in history and one of the few athletes to secure World Championships in both winter and summer sports. As an Olympic and Paralympic skier and a wheelchair racer, he consistently aimed beyond the podium. Following a back injury during his time as a college ski racer, he transitioned to monoskiing, using his performances to represent the disabled community. In 2009, he became the first nearly unassisted paraplegic to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro. Through his One Revolution Foundation, he aims to transform our perceptions of ourselves and others.
Trace Worthington
A two-time Olympian and U.S. Ski Hall of Famer, Trace wrapped up an impressive freestyle skiing career by earning 37 World Cup victories, seven world titles, and a total of 79 podium finishes on the FIS World Cup circuit. Trace remains the most decorated male freestyle skier in U.S. history. His expertise is utilized by NBC at the annual Deer Valley Freestyle World Cup and five Olympic Winter Games. As a respected local and Deer Valley pass holder for over two decades, Trace’s vast knowledge of the mountain and positive attitude are a perfect fit for guests of all levels looking to customize their on-mountain experience.
Ashley Caldwell
Ashley Caldwell is a four-time Olympian and Olympic Gold Medalist in Freestyle Aerials. Known for her fearless approach, Ashley became the first woman to land the world-record "Daddy" jump, a quadruple-twisting, triple flip, marking a high point in her career. At the 2022 Winter Olympics, she won Gold in the Mixed Team Aerials with teammates Justin Schoenefeld and Chris Lillis. Ashley now calls Park City, Utah, home, where she shares her love of skiing by guiding skiers across the mountain, from powder-filled glades to fresh groomers. Off the slopes, Ashley is committed to advancing gender equality in sports and holds two master’s degrees from the University of Utah, now working in real estate private equity.
