Deer Valley Hosts Holiday Boutique to Benefit Adopt-A-Native Elder Program and Announces Return of the Annual ANE Rug Show

DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Dec. 9, 2024) – Deer Valley is proud to partner with the Adopt-A-Native-Elder (A.N.E.) Program to host its annual Holiday Boutique from December 20 – 22, 2024, at Snow Park Lodge. This special holiday event, open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., showcases authentic Navajo jewelry, rugs, and crafts, with proceeds serving to help reduce poverty and provide resources for traditional Navajo Elders and families.

For over 40 years, the Adopt-A-Native-Elder Program has provided vital resources, including food, medical supplies, and firewood, to Elders living on the Navajo Reservation. This year’s boutique features the work of over 70 Navajo artists, offering guests an opportunity to purchase meaningful holiday gifts while making a difference in the lives of others.

Visitors can browse a variety of authentic Navajo creations, including handwoven rugs, vibrant jewelry, and intricate crafts. Each purchase directly supports Navajo families, helping them sustain themselves through the winter months and beyond.

Adding to this exciting season, Deer Valley is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved ANE Rug Show, scheduled for November 7–9, 2025, marking its first in-person gathering since 2019. The Rug Show promises an immersive cultural experience celebrating the extraordinary artistry and heritage of the Navajo people.

Re-Launch of the Rug Show – November 7–9, 2025

A Showcase of Talent: The 2025 Rug Show will feature the work of more than 70 Navajo weavers and artists. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to watch weaving demonstrations and participate in cultural teachings and storytelling sessions led by the artists themselves.

Cultural Celebration: The event will include performances by Native entertainers, such as pow wow dancers and a drum group, culminating in a memorable closing ceremony.

Nationwide Awareness: Deer Valley’s marketing team will co-brand the return of the Rug Show, creating significant nationwide visibility for the event and announcing Deer Valley as a major sponsor.

Global Engagement: Adopt-A-Native-Elder will feature Deer Valley in its annual virtual Rug Show, hosted on the A.N.E. website. This virtual event attracts more than 30,000 visitors from around the world, amplifying the reach of the program and highlighting Deer Valley’s vital support.
