DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Dec. 2, 2024) – Deer Valley’s groomed runs and open lifts mark the start of reservations for this winter’s Deer Valley Creative Academy cooking classes. Deer Valley’s culinary experts will lead aspiring and seasoned chefs, bakers, and foodies through a variety of hands-on food & beverage classes on weekends throughout the ski season. Reservations are also available for 2025’s first course of the Taste of Luxury Series, featuring three exclusive evenings with Michelin Star Chef Paco Morales on Jan. 10, 11, and 12, 2025.



Our Creative Academy classes are the perfect complement to Deer Valley’s on-mountain experience, teaching new skills and techniques on how to build festive gingerbread houses, prepare savory soups, hearty stews, fresh loaves of bread, indulgent South American desserts, and more,” said Deer Valley Resort VP of Food & Beverage Jacob Musyt.We also invite guests to join us for our highly-anticipated Taste of Luxury Series in January, featuring esteemed Michelin Star Chef Paco Morales and his Spanish culinary influence.”

Three exclusive evenings, set in the elegant Fireside Dining Room at Empire Lodge, promise a remarkable journey through a 6-course dinner, meticulously crafted by Chef Morales, a celebrated Spanish chef with three Michelin stars to his name. The evening begins with a VIP reception where guests will enjoy passed appetizers, a welcome glass of prosecco, and live jazz music, followed by an intimate meet and greet with Chef Morales.



Known for his innovative approach to Andalusian cuisine, Chef Morales will collaborate with Deer Valley’s culinary team to create a multi-sensory dining experience. Utilizing the finest local ingredients from Utah and special ingredients brought from Spain, each dish will be expertly paired with an exquisite selection of Spanish wines.
