Residency Requirements
Qualifications
A current Utah driver’s license or Utah property tax bill will qualify you for the program; no other documentation will be accepted. Only the individuals named on the documentation and children who are legal dependents, 23 years or younger living in the same residence as their parents, are eligible.
Fulfillment Instructions
Once you have completed your transaction at ikonpass.com, including signing your waiver and uploading your photo, please do the following:

- Email the Deer Valley Ticket Office at localsonly@deervalley.com to provide your proof of Utah residency
- Proof of Utah residency is a current Utah driver’s license or Utah property tax bill; no other documentation will be accepted. Only the individuals named on the documentation and children who are legal dependents, 23 years or younger living in the same residence as their parents, are eligible
- After you provide qualifying proof of current Utah residency, the ticket office will contact you when your new media is ready to be activated

- Locals Only Direct to Lift Passes: Locals Only Pass holders can go directly to the lift with their Locals Only Pass media
- 2024 Summer Benefit: Receive one scenic or mountain bike lift ticket during the 2024 summer season
- Friends & Family Discount Lift Ticket: Receive 25% off the window rate. One Friends & Family discount coupon is issued per 5 Pass or 3 Pass purchased. Pass holders may now redeem their Friends & Family benefit online here.
Restrictions
- Friends & Family Discount Lift Tickets: Blackout dates apply 12/26/24 - 12/31/24, 1/18/25 - 1/19/25, 2/15/25 - 2/16/25. Child Passes do not qualify for this benefit
- Locals Only Pass holders do not receive discounts on retail or in any Food and Beverage locations
- To qualify for a Locals Only Pass, each season you must present your current Utah driver’s license or Utah property tax bill. Only the individuals named on the documentation are eligible. Locals Only Passes will not be activated without current proof of Utah residency
- Children who are legal dependents, 23 years or younger, and living in the same residence as their parents, are eligible
- Locals Only Passes are not valid during 12/26/24 - 12/31/24, 1/18/25 - 1/19/25, 2/15/25 - 2/16/25
- Locals Only Pass card replacement fee is $5
- A Release of Liability Waiver and photo are required before pass will be issued
- Additional Locals Only 5 Passes or 3 Passes may be purchased after all of the ski days have been used
- All Locals Only unused days will expire at the end of the 24/25 ski season
- Pass sharing or misuse will result in the forfeiture of the pass with no compensation and may result in prosecution

Locals Only Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing insurance. Pass sharing or misuse may also result in suspension of the pass for the day or season. Pass prices listed do not include tax. All Locals unused days will expire at the end of the ski season.
